Bio

I have been practicing family law almost exclusively since 2018, focused on resolving client disputes efficiently and cost-effectively. Although alternative dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation, and arbitration, is critical, much of my experience is in high-conflict cases requiring court action. I have assisted married and common-law spouses and individuals who do not fit either definition.

My experience dealing with cases involving domestic violence and abuse, mental health, and addiction issues includes parenting disputes, child and spousal support concerning complex income scenarios, and complex property claims. Being able to help clients who suffered from domestic violence and abuse escape a bad situation and provide them with a framework to build their new lives is especially satisfying. I place a lot of value on helping people through tough times, which is the driving force behind why I practice family law. I also take great satisfaction from crafting a parenting plan in the children’s best interests. My goal is to help reduce the damaging effects of divorce to ensure the children’s well-being while preserving each parent’s rights.

It is important to me to ensure my clients have a deep understanding of the process when navigating a separation/divorce. I take the time to explain every single step in detail, including why I am taking a certain approach and where it will take us. I help empower individuals by answering their questions, ensuring they feel supported. I provide sound legal advice so my clients know I am fighting for them and will not hesitate to proceed with litigation to secure the best outcomes.
