Bio
Following my call to the Bar in 2005, I joined their litigation department as an associate, wherein I practised commercial litigation. The work was intense and often long, but this training was invaluable in shaping me into the lawyer that I am today, as it required patience, attention to detail, and exposed me to consistently effective advocacy, which I carefully studied.
In 2008, after thoughtful consideration, I decided to transition into family law, realizing that my true passion was helping individuals, rather than representing corporations. I joined a full-service law firm in my hometown of Kingston, Ontario, and began honing my skills as a family law lawyer. It was then that I began to appreciate the complexity of family law, witnessing firsthand how taxing it was on clients, and the resulting impact this often had on children. Throughout that year, I represented clients in many acrimonious matters, including litigating one of the most horrific parental child abuse cases, in Ontario, to date.
In 2010, armed with that experience, I returned to Toronto and continued to develop my skills and expertise practising family law. First, at a mid-sized firm in East York, wherein I partnered in 2014, and eventually running my own successful family law firm (in partnership), from 2017-2021.
My practice encompasses all areas of family law, and my experience helps me procure practical, cost-effective solutions for my clients, whether in court, mediation and/or arbitration, or in the Collaborative Family Law process. With a background in business law, and in conjunction with my training as a family law mediator, I am able to formulate creative solutions to difficult problems, which is essential in a world where the definition of “family” is increasingly diverse and ever-changing.
Moreover, as no two family law matters are the same, I carefully advise my clients, mindful of their unique circumstances. I offer my clients candid, practical advice, and we work together to come up with a resolution of their matter as quickly and amicably as possible. My clients consistently comment that my approach and dedication promote reduced anxiety and increased well-being, which I consider to be fundamental to my role as a family law lawyer. I take tremendous pride in the fact that my clients trust me, my judgment, and my ability to assist them with achieving optimal outcomes, during what is often the most difficult time in their lives.
I joined Marley Chambers & Associate as a lateral partner, in September 2021. As I have historically, I continue to represent clients with complex financial matters, whereby an advanced understanding of the intersection between family law and business is essential. My matters often involve the valuations of businesses/properties, income determinations (for child and/or spousal support purposes), family trusts, and the like. This experience, coupled with a strategic mindset, fosters consistently positive results for my clients.
Choosing the right family law lawyer is no small task and gauging “fit” is incredibly important. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you to discuss your matter, the process, and how I can assist you navigate the days and/or months ahead as effectively as possible, with your peace of mind at the forefront.

Brilliant Lawyer
I am currently working with Kerri Parslow. To say i'm glad I found her would be a massive understatement. Having never gone through this process I was very anxious. Not only is she a brilliant lawyer, she is also kind, patient and had no problem walking me through things. Kerri truly cares and it shows in every way. I would recommend her to anyone with flying colors!

Highly Professional and Responsive
Kerri Parslow and her team were absolutely fantastic and were highly professional and responsive. From our first meeting to our last, Kerri kept me informed throughout the process. At times it seemed the other side wasn't interested in moving the case along or even communicating with us at all. Kerri kept me positive and made sure the lines of communication were always open. Kerri was able to orchestrate a deal that worked best for me and would keep my case out of court which would only add more costs and time. I've been through this once before and I can honestly say the knowledge and service Kerri gave to me was second to none and I wish I would have used her on my prior case. There's a reason she's one of the best in her field of family law. I highly recommend Kerri if you are looking for a family lawyer. She has your back at all times and is only focused on getting you the best deal possible.
